Ken Rothacker is a graduate of the University of Illinois, and has maintained an active schedule of performing as a guitarist for weddings, corporate events, concerts and church services for over two decades.
While studying guitar performance at Illinois, Ken participated in master classes with a number of elite guitarists, including Manuel Barruecco, Robert Guthrie, Sharon Isbin, Michael Newman, and Turibio Santos.
In addition to playing classical guitar repertoire, Ken plays his own unique arrangements of pop, jazz, Beatles, and boss nova, as well as playing original compositions.
Ken’s solo guitar version of “The Star Spangled Banner” has been featured at a number of Chicago Cub’s games at Wrigley Field.
